About us
Company LOGIKA d.o.o. was founded in 1991 by Slovenian mathematician Izidor Hafner with the aim of
promoting and developing logical thinking in primary school children and high school students.
Our team
- Ana Hafner holds a PhD in sociology and a degree in social informatics. She is the technical editor of the journal Logic and Recreational Mathematics. She is currently self-employed.
- Izidor Hafner (founder), former lecturer of mathematics and computer programming at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in University of Ljubljana. He is the founder of competitions in logic and entertainment mathematics. In 2000, he received the Order of Freedom of the Republic of Slovenia for his engagement in introducing computer science and logic in secondary schools and for working with young people in this field. In 2009, he received the National Education Award.
Since 2014 he is an Honorary Member of the Association of Mathematicians, Physicists and Astronomers of Slovenia (DMFA).
- Miha Vučkovič (director) graduated in computer science and mathematics at the Faculty of
Computer and Information Science in University of Ljubljana. He is a programmer in company Kobis d.o.o.
where he works on developing analytical applications for medical devices.
- Meta Lah is an associate professor at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana and
the editor-in-chief of the Journal for foreign languages (Vestnik za tuje jezike). Her background in pedagogy and
considerable experience with international communication and publication allows her to act as an advisor to the team.
- Jerneja Erjavec holds a master’s degree in English language and literature and Japanese language from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana.
She has worked short-time as a technical editor for the Journal for foreign languages as well as a translator and sales specialist for a major tourist company in Slovenia.
